Hi,
My name is Chris Dolos and am aspiring to become a teacher in the field of high school Biology and middle school General Science. I grew up in Rhode Island and quicky became used to its natural beauty, easy accessibility to the ocean, and the fresh seafood. With these experiences, I was quick to take them for granted and made a decision to go to college in Wisconsin....yes Wisconsin. After about one month of numbing weather, I realized I had made a very strange decision. After graduating with a BA in Biology, and having the best time of my life, I returned to my original home, worked, travelled, worked, played, and then decided to go back to school. After really realizing the amount of money school costs as a student the second time around, school became a bit more serious, and more rewarding. Now that teaching is becoming more of a reality, I am realizing that maybe I am ready for another drastic change accompanying this career path. Traveling has always been my favorite pastime, and what better way to do it than as a teacher in a different country. So for the next 4-6 months, I will try my best to learn as much as possible about this career, my content area, and keep my options open. I am 29 years old, have had a good amount of working experience performing jobs that I would not consider nearly as rewarding as this profession, and will always be addicted to new experiences. So I guess I am trying to find a way to combine two dreams into one. Chris Dolos Teaching Rationale Chris Dolos Unit Plan
